The Principal, David Hunt, is a professional IT and Communications Consultant with over 35 years experience, largely in telco environments, but more recently in manufacturing. His expansive range of skills equips him to handle complex and broad ranging assignments. Past roles have included technical implementation, pre-sales, design, implementation, project management and responsibility for IT&T in its entirety. Some years ago, David spent a year in the Real Estate industry working as an Agent's Representative in listing and selling residential real estate, as well as operating Systems-Go and supporting his existing customers. This has added direct sales and small business experience to his already substantial arsenal of knowledge. Currently he has undertaken a full time role with Thales Australia, formerly ADI Limited in which he is responsible for IT at their Mulwala, Benalla and Melbourne sites. At the same time, Systems-Go is continuing to provide web authoring, hosting and minor consultative work.
David specialises in doing new things correctly, the first time, as exemplified in Telstra Big Pond Cable which was the first Cable ISP in Australia and Telewest BlueYonder UK, which was the first DOCSIS Cable ISP in the UK. His major strengths are his ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations and to produce innovative solutions. He can also be a powerful "change agent" and has very strong problem solving skills.
